The HKS EVO is build to JGTCA 500 standards. The HKS car is 400 lbs lighter than AMS's EVO, has full CF body, all of the suspension attachment points on the car have been moved, has less of a rollcage and was also running "illegal" tire at the event, as in not DOT approved tire.

AMS's eve is blistering fast and doesn't feature some of the mods that are seen on the HKS' car (suspension being the main one) as the rules for most of the US Time attack events do not allow such modifications.

Another thing to mention is that HKS' budget is WAY bigger than AMS. AMS is a true grassroots competitor and its truly amazing to see how well they do.

[...] Original Post HERE The brake kit is a GReddy/GRex kit designed by the former and manufactured by Alcon back around 1997. They were prototyped specifically for the 2G and are the only set in existence. I’m not certain why the kits never made it into production, but I suspect it had something to do with cost. The fitment is perfect and they stop like nothing you could imagine. [...]

Mad props for the clean 2g JDM style DSM. There simply aren't enough of these around ever since the 2 ghey 2 curious crowd got ahold of these beautiful machines and very shamefully riced them out. Keep up the good work and long live the 4G63, the greatest f/i 4 cylinder engine ever made.
