Tranny blues

More work on trying to extract the old transmission from the car. We got the driver side axle out, but the passenger side axle is stuck in the transmission. Also, pulled the transmission cooler from the front. The cup goes in the case and you can’t wedge a screwdriver in there like you normally could.  When removing some suspension parts to gain access to the axles my upper control arms and tie rod ends got messed up. I also found out the 2g A/T axles are a little shorter then the M/T axles, so I need to get new axles. So I will be forced to order up some nice SPC forged aluminum upper control arms, and I’m awaiting a response from Drive Shaft Shop to see if they can ‘convert’ my A/T axles to longer M/T axles.

I thought this project was going to be easy, but it’s starting to cost more than what I had originally expected. I keep telling myself that it will be all worth it when I get it running again.
